Cookie and Local Storage Policy

Cookies are stored by your browser and sent to the website with relevant requests. Local storage (localStorage) saves settings in your browser. This policy explains their purposes and how to manage them on the main website.

1. Functional cookies
NEXT_LOCALE remembers your language selection. It is a session cookie without a long-term expiry set by the website. Depending on browser settings, session data may be restored when the browser is reopened.
uges_token is used only after an administrator signs in, to maintain a secure session. It lasts up to 7 days and is removed on sign-out. It has HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax attributes and Secure in production. Administrator sign-in is not needed to browse the public website.
2. Browser local storage
uges-cookie-consent stores your analytics choice as accepted or declined. It has no automatic expiry and remains until you change your choice or clear the website’s browser data.
uges-admin-locale stores the editor language for administration users only. It remains until the setting is changed or local browser data is cleared. These entries are not analytics identifiers.
3. Optional analytics
Google Analytics can load only when it is configured on the website and you explicitly allow it. Declining analytics does not prevent browsing or sending an inquiry. If no Google Analytics identifier is configured, its scripts and analytics cookies do not load.
If Google Analytics is configured and you allow it, it may use _ga and _ga_* cookies to measure visits. Google’s default lifetime is up to 2 years and may renew on visits; the actual lifetime depends on service settings and browser restrictions. This is a cookie lifetime, not a retention period for contact form messages.
4. Third-party features
Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form against bots. The embedded OpenStreetMap on the contact page loads external resources. These features may send technical connection data to their providers and operate independently of Google Analytics consent.
The privacy policy explains these services, recipients and your rights. External websites, including Google Maps, apply their own policies and storage settings when you follow links to them.
Managing your choice
Open “Cookie preferences” to allow or decline analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time in the same way: further analytics loading stops and analytics cookies accessible to this website are removed. This does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also delete cookies and local storage in browser settings; this may reset your language choice and end an administrator session.
Google Analytics is not currently configured. Google Analytics scripts and cookies do not load, regardless of a saved choice.
